About Us

The overarching goal of IMSVISUAL is to establish the visual system as a model within which to monitor neurodegeneration, disease progression, neuroregeneration and neuroplasticity in multiple sclerosis (MS), both for tracking patients, as well as outcome measures in clinical trials.

The consortium emphasizes ocular imaging in MS, relating the visual system to the global MS disease process and is committed to testing therapeutics including putative neuroprotective and remyelinating agents in MS using the visual system as an outcome measure.

The boards of organizers, working committee, project committee, and member sites of IMSVISUAL consists of experienced experts and sites in MS visual system research.
